No beach to walk on, no hand to hold,
life is one long, unspoken song
No one to dance with, no one to see,
what I feel in my life is precious to me
No stars to gaze at, no open skies,
no one to soothe me with old lullabies
One day I’ll follow where true love will lead,
free of the sorrow and the downtrodden need
