About Me

E.V. Rose was born some 48 years ago in the beautiful City of Liverpool, England.  E.V. has no formal writing or artistic qualifications, (unless a GCE at O level in Art & Design from Ellergreen Sixth Form College counts) preferring instead to study at the University of Life, otherwise known as The School of Hard Knocks in her native city. 

Although born a city girl, E.V. spent a lot of time in north Wales as a child on family holidays.  Quickly becoming a country girl at heart she made it her home in the 1980's and as such it holds a very special place in her heart, she describes it as a magical, wonderful place, with stunningly beautiful countryside;  in fact, the further north you travel the more spectacular and dramatic the place becomes.  

E.V's first creative foray into the world of Writing is via a collection of 50 poems which has recently been published under the title 'Forsaken Land.'   This is a private collection and is not currently for sale.  E.V is now working on a second book of poetry inspired by one of the most beautiful places in England, all she will say about it right now is that this glorious place is the last well kept secret, and perfect wilderness left in this great country of ours.

E.V. now lives in semi-rural Kent and as pretty as the Garden of England is, E.V. still holds north Wales and the last perfect wilderness as special places in her life and hopes one day to return to one of them.

E.V. considers herself a Professional Scouser and never leaves home without her trademark sense of humour.
